Which iPhones can take a tap

An iPhone XS or later, on iOS 18 or later. Nothing else: no reader, no dongle, no case.

On a phone that does not qualify, Tap to Pay does not appear in the app at all. There is no tile, no setup button and no splash, rather than a button that fails. If you cannot find it, check the iOS version in Settings › General › About first.

Android is not Tap to Pay on iPhone. Tap to Pay on Android is a separate thing we have not built yet; the Android app sells tickets online and runs the door and the counter, and takes no card at the door.
